This 9 hole course sits at the end of its own winding road and the first glimpse of the course reveals it is nestled down in a stunning cove that joins the land to the sea. The course follows the contours of the cove, offering stunning views of the Moray Coast along the way.
This is a beautiful, small course with some crazy holes and crazy greens. The fun starts from the fifth lane. The view is fantastic. Some fairways were perfect, in any case significantly better than the “big brother” Hopeman. The greens were in top condition, some of the tee boxes were bad.The craziest place we've ever played.Thank you!
Very friendly welcome from Angela when I arrived. Superb location with great views. The course has a mix of fun/quirky type holes nemely 5, 7 and 8 plus some excellent links golf holes. First 4 holes reminded me a little of Cruden Bay while the 6th is one of the best par 3's I've played and would easily fit on any of the top links courses in Scotland. A great wee par 3 to finish off on a teeing area with a cliff on 2 sides. In addition the greens were great and have been designed and shaped really well which makes the course even more enjoyable. Certainly value for money. If you haven't played it just do it its well worth it! Pat Roger
Covesea Links is maybe the best 9 hole course I have ever played. Short, but definitely not easy. Interesting holes, blind shots, tees high up and an incredible view to shore and beach. Would definitely highly recommend!

One of the best 9 hole golf courses I have ever had the pleasure to play. The scenery is absolutely amazing, The owners are lovely and helpful too. Beautiful course. £20 for 9 holes, £30 for 18 holes.
Great course! I play quite a bit in Spain, but this, is a proper course! Lots of little challenges and the scenery is spectacular. Will be back next year!
Amazing views, challenging but fun holes, and a wonderful host... a true hidden gem and now one of my favourite courses here. Watch out for the RAF Typhoons overhead out of Lossie! Will definitely be back, many times hopefully! ????????????????
Covesea will forever be my favorite course in Scotland. It was the first course I’ve played in the country, the layout is challenging but fair, and the greens are superb! All of them roll true, a testament to Andrew and the work he has done crafting a friendly 9 hole layout with blind tee shots and exquisite views. I will also add that Angela, the chief executive, administrator, pro shop attendant, and head of public relations is the nicest person I’ve met in some time. My brother and I told her, we will be back to visit again. By all means, if you enjoy the game, play here. - Ed and Bob Alves
Well the other reviews were right. This little course was a blast. Just nine holes but they’re well thought out and an interesting mix. The greens were a pleasant surprise and in great condition. And I can’t say enough about the views on the finishing holes. It was much than I hoped for at such an excellent price.10/10 would recommend
If you are a links golf fan and are in the Moray area do not miss out on a visit to Covesea Links. Beautifully laid out, a variety of testing shots on every hole, greens as you would expect on Scottish links and views to die for. Value for money is an understatement. A warm welcome and a great track. Manicured better than some so called big name courses. Don’t miss out, I guarantee you will be amazed.
Came up to the area to play the other main 3 courses of the area, but had some time to kill so decided to play Covesea, and what a gem it is. Not particularly long at a par 31, but still challenging, particularly if it's blowing a gale. Very well kept and sculptured greens. Some stunning views. Well worth the £15 green fee.
Short but very very sweet. Hard, undulating fairways, tight lies galore. A couple of blind par 3s to epic greens. Ignore the total yardage, this is as good a test as many. The way golf was originally intended to be played. Rustic and full of olde worlde charm. Put it on your list.
Charming 9 hole course, full of character. Greens were superb. Spectacular views. Can't rate it highly enough. Very warm welcome on arrival and I also got a nice cherrio when I finished. You need to be on your game with your approach shots. Definitely give this a try you will not be disappointed.
Cracking little 9 hole course.Some really interesting holes.Greens were in really nice condition and plenty of challenging undulations! Place runs with an honesty box so don't be surprised if you don't see anyone, leave your money and go play! No need to book and definitely worth a visit if your in the area.Only word of warning Google maps doesn't quite get the entrance right at time of this review, and it's a windy gravel track so if you drive anything with low ground clearance go very slow!
Not quite the Castle Stuart we had played the previous day but a great, FUN, quirky wee 9-holes. A great way to spend a morning before heading to play Moray. Friendly and accommodating.
